KNOWLEDGE
Important Seeking Knowledge
Seeking Islamic knowledge is of great importance in Islam. Allah says: “Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” (Qur’an 39:9). Knowledge guides a Muslim to worship Allah correctly, strengthens īmān, and protects from ignorance and misguidance. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever Allah wishes good for, He gives him understanding of the religion.” Knowledge is the foundation of righteous deeds upon the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah.

All Innovations Are Kufr
Allah perfected Islam and left nothing to be added (Qur’an 5:3). The Prophet ﷺ said, “Every innovation is misguidance,” without exception. Bid‘ah is legislating into the Deen, a right belonging only to Allah, and implies that Islam was incomplete or the Messenger ﷺ failed—both disbelief. Thus, every bid‘ah is kufr in origin, though ruling on individuals requires conditions.

Ḥadīth of the Ḥawḍ (Shafar / Driven Away from the Pond)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“I will be at my Pond, waiting for those who come to me. Then some people will be taken away from me, and I will say: ‘My Ummah! My Ummah!’ It will be said: ‘You do not know what they introduced after you.’ Then I will say: Away with them! Away with them!”

📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (2290)
Another wording says:
“They turned back on their heels after you.”

“Whoever drinks from my Pond will never feel thirsty again.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
